Admin Supreme Leader	For those who haven’t seen it yet, the whole Circus system has been consumed by the parasite. I’ve sectioned off that portion of the site. Since this is the second time this has happened, I’ve also renamed the original “Do Not Click” hazard to Quarantine Zone A and the carnival zone to Quarantine Zone B. We aren’t any closer to understanding why this happens. This thread has been left for any thoughts, questions, or concerns you may have on the topic of the Circus and/or parasite(s).

World's Greatest	Lola. I appreciate the forethought you’re showing here but I can see you’re worked up, so I want to step in and remind you that it’s a website. From what I’ve seen, it hasn’t recorded anything past ABC’s death. It could very well just be feeding off the information that was already there. I assumed the data loss was the largest issue for us and was confused as to why everyone was reacting so extremely to it. I’m going to keep suggesting people back up their records with physical copies and keep them in a safe place. As it stands, I’d be interested in keeping Quarantine Zone B as a kind of petri dish and seeing how things develop in there. Like Elena said, we still know almost nothing about how Lotus(?) works. This could be a rare chance to observe it.

I understand what is meant to be accomplished with things like “containment” and all the disclaimers, but it seems pretty obvious to me that all of have already contracted the parasite. I feel about the same as normal, so I don’t think it has any contaminating effect on the brain. The main risk is still with data leaks, but that’s a risk we’re taking on anyway for every one of you that won’t go through R2I. nautilus_LN: btw ivve been calling the parasite “Lotus” in my head. it told me it likes flowers ❁ :} I’ve been calling it code-LF in all my notes. A lot of the neoanima seem to be naming themselves. Kind of cute.

LF isnt harmful but it spends a lot of time in valentines court and he is going to take advantage of that. obviously he is going to take advantage of that his favorite thing in the world is to take advantage. hell make one that corrupts absolutely. but when/if that day comes, i do have a theory! :D the circus swallowed up a lot of people but more got out than were trapped. whichever qualities made people immune to that then might also make them immune to other parasites. so we just have to figure out what those qualities are and we'll be all set

“don’t put stupid shit in my bio”	EZ: the best way to avoid contamination is to be very focused and unamused. yeah there are some very unspecial measures you can take but i don’t see any of them holding up so well against an evolved threat. if you want an illusion of security, just scan your thoughts frequently to make sure they’re really yours. get better at metacognition. just having awareness of the possibility of corruption probably gives you a leg up on the people who aren’t expecting it. everyone whos able, keep a close eye on cobra labs. we might get an advance notice.
